It was a long felt need of residents of Gandhimanagar near Peelamedu that the existing park of around 2 acres in their locality be revived and made functional for the benefit of those living there. RAAC took the lead in handling this project and Robert Bosch group was kind enough to provide funds for the revival of this park.
This park was jointly developed by RAAC, Siruthuli and the Coimbatore Corporation, with the funds being provided by Robert Bosch Group.

This vacant land was transformed into a children’s park including construction of a 225 meters of walkers’ path. More than 400 trees were planted and children’s play equipments were installed. An open exercise square for young adults has also been provided.
This park is being used by more than 2000 residents on a daily basis. The upkeep and maintenance of this park is taken care of by RAAC. Mr. Devaraj, our Secretary needs to be complemented for supervising this project and bringing it to a successful completion.
