Public Toilets at Echanari

    The proposal aims to address a critical need for sanitation facilities in Iyyappa Nagar, Eachanari, where approximately 9800 people reside. The proposal was put forth by the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) to construct new toilets in the area, thereby improving the overall sanitation and hygiene conditions for the local residents. RAAC is the implementing partner and recognizing the importance of this initiative, Milacron, a reputed organization, has generously stepped forward to provide funding amounting to Rs. 30 lakhs for the construction of these toilets. Their contribution is invaluable in making this project a reality, as it reflects their commitment to the well-being and welfare of the community. 

       With the recent approval obtained from the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, the construction process is expected to commence shortly. Kovai Kulangal in partnership with RAAC will be in charge of the project. The new toilets will not only fulfill a basic necessity for the residents of Iyyappa Nagar but also contribute to better public health and a cleaner environment. Access to proper sanitation facilities is vital for preventing the spread of diseases and ensuring the overall well-being of the community members.
